1. We always use heavy style deer fence (plastic or metal).
-
2. We use heavy duty metal and PVC posts. Our support posts are 2 inch schedule 40 and 80 pipe.
-
3. No more ground sleeves. We install our posts on galvanized acceptor pipe which we put up to 3 feet in the ground. Deer fence support posts are installed onto these pipes and achieve a 8 foot high post every time. This method eliminates the use of ground sleeves which can fill with water and eventually rust out the bottom of the fence post.
-
4. The entire fence is deer mesh. We add metal hex fence along the bottom of the deer fence to prevent rodent damage.
-
5. Our fence is reinforced with 3 cables. We use a 3 cable reinforcement system. These cable are installed at the top, middle (3 feet off ground) and along the bottom of fence. In high deer traffic areas we use 8 gauge cable. When you need extreme rodent protection we use black coated galvanized cable along the bottom of fence. This metal insures that rodents will not chew through the cable and raise up your fence.
-
6. We use heavy duty fastening materials. We always use UV stabilized 11 inch black ties and 11 gauge galvanized hog ring clips.
-
7. Our deer fence installation stays tight to the ground. In soft soil areas we use 18” galvanized kinked ground stakes. This ensures the fence stays to the ground.
-
8. We install the entire fence on fence posts. (We do not install the fence directly to trees, eliminating possible harm to your landscape and weaknesses in your fence line.)
-
9. Our deer fence is strong. We cut and reattach the fence to follow the angles and terrain changes of each property. (Our fence is not rolled out in one piece over large distances.) This provides a strong fence that can withstand a lot of deer impact.
- 10. Our fence looks great (if you can see it). Our cut and reattach technique eliminates buckles and waves in the fence line.
